- Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH): This one measure ovarian reserve and helps doctors predict a woman’s fertility potential.
Hormonal imbalances and fertility
Imbalances in any of these hormones can lead to disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hypothalamic dysfunction, thyroid disorders or premature ovarian failure. However, advances in reproductive medicine offer treatments like hormone therapy, ovulation induction and assisted reproductive technologies (ART) to help restore fertility.
