A renowned OBG and infertility specialist; Dr Fessy Louis T is specialized in reproductive Medicine, gynaecological care, IVF, IUI infertility evaluation treatment, and laparoscopic surgery. A few of his areas of expertise are IVF, ICSI, TESAP/PESA, IUI, frozen embryo transfer, and recurrent IVF failure.
He serves as the All-India Vice President of the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FOGSI) from 2021-2022. He is also a member of the National Governing Council of Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ICOG) from 2021 and member of the National
Managing Committee of Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) since 2020. As Secretary of Kerala Chapter ISAR (Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction) and Vice Chairperson of Kerala Chapter IAGE (Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists), he
served as an active member of both organizations. He was the All-India Chairperson of the FOGSI International Academic Exchange committee from 2013 to 2016. The All-Kerala Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology KFOG elected him as Secretary-General from 2012 to 2018.
Currently, he is working as a Senior Consultant & Associate Professor in the Department of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery AIMS – AMRITA Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala. He began his medical graduation at the government medical college in Thrissur in 1987. He did his post-graduation from Kasturba Medical College Manipal and DNB from Government Medical College, Kottayam in Kerala, India.
Dr. Fessi started his career as a junior consultant at Jubilee Mission Hospital Thrissur and then as a senior lecturer in Government Medical College, Thrissur. His interest in Infertility and laparoscopy that gained from Manipal University led the path to
join CIMAR, Edappal hospitals at Edappal in 2002. He got his DPS (Laparoscopy) from Germany.
He served as IVF co-ordinator and Laparoscopic surgeon at Edappal and was a visiting consultant at Elite Hospital Thrissur, Sanjoe Hospital Perumbavoor, Vamsam Infertility Centre Coimbatore and D.S. Hospital, Palani. With the opening of the CIMAR branch at Kochi in 2010 joined as the senior IVF specialist there. He worked as a Senior Consultant in Infertility & Laparoscopy surgeon in CIMAR for 13 years.

He joined the department of Reproductive medicine AIMS Amrita Institute of medical sciences as faculty, when MCH in reproductive medicine and surgery was started for the first time in the state and third in India. Throughout his career, he has conducted and participated in many workshops, symposiums, etc., providing him with a deep understanding of his expert fields. During the past several years, he has spoken at many national, state, and regional conferences, been a faculty member at the Fertivision and IAGE conferences, at every AICOG conference since 2004, and at every ISAR national conference since 2006. His recent publication on fibroid and fertility was the latest of many publications he had written, and edited for FOGSI.
